Did you here the latest buzz doing the rounds in Bollywood? It is rumored that Mani Rathnam has axed some cozy scenes between Abhishek and Aishwarya from his forthcoming film ‘Raavan’. Mr. Ratnam is said to have done away with scenes after getting concerned on the scene hurting Hindu religious sentiments.

Looks like may be the acclaimed film maker made a mistake by letting it known to the world that the name of his forthcoming film is ‘Raavan’. Only because people now know that the film has been named ‘Raavan’ the guesswork is going on about the movie's story being inspired from the epic Ramayana.

So far the director has been adamant in not revealing the nature of the storyline and the characters. According to insiders, Abhishek will come across as a character that has been etched of the personality of Raavan, the villain in Ramayana. In the film he kidnaps a married woman played by Aishwarya and as the story moves forward the lady develops a soft corner for her abductor!

This affection gets to a point where she is physical attracted to her abductor. Everyone knows that in the Ramayana Sita is the lady kidnapped by Raavan. So if Abhishek has been etched in the minds of film lovers as “Raavan”, it is needless to say Aish will be seen across as Sita.

This would prove good material for a furor when Rama devotees see Raavan getting cozy with Sita. Things would have been better if the film was perceived as a love triangle rather that equating the movie with an epic. All said and done lets hope the film releases to eagerly waiting audience and does a good show at the BO.
